A clear pathway forward, not just a diagnosis.
Heyday Educational Consult Ltd. is a special education, developmental support, therapy and educational consultancy organisation providing practical, evidence-informed support for children with additional needs, their families, schools and professionals.
We work across child development, assessment, intervention, therapy, school inclusion, parent support, professional training and special education advocacy.
At Heyday, we believe that identifying a challenge should not be the end of the conversation. It should be the beginning of a clear pathway forward.
Our approach is centred on understanding the individual child, identifying functional needs, creating practical intervention plans and supporting measurable progress.
Formed to answer the questions families kept asking
Heyday was founded by Salome Dilla from a growing concern that many families and schools know that a child is struggling, but are often left asking the questions listed here.
Heyday was created to bridge that gap by bringing together assessment, intervention planning, therapy support, educational consultancy, family support and professional capacity building.
What began with a focus on special education and learner support has grown into a broader platform supporting children, families, schools, educators and professionals through practical services, training programmes, workshops, conferences and special education initiatives.
What exactly does this child need?
Why is the child struggling?
What should we do next?
How do we support the child effectively?
How do we know whether the intervention is working?
To provide evidence-based behavioural and educational support that helps children with additional needs thrive, through collaboration with families, educators and communities.
To create an inclusive educational environment where every child with additional needs is supported, valued and empowered to thrive.
